A ninety-minute lecture recorded on a phone, or a whole course sitting on YouTube, and an exam next week. Rewatching everything is not realistic. What helps is a set of notes to study from and a way to jump straight to the part that did not make sense the first time. The Voicepad bot in Telegram turns the recording or the link into a transcript with timestamps and notes with the key points, and for a video link the notes end with chapters that open the video at the right minute.

The notes give you the structure; the details live in the full transcript, where every paragraph has a timestamp, so going back to a particular example takes seconds. The Question button answers from the recording: "what did the lecturer say the exam would cover?" or "list the three examples from the second half". The free plan includes one question per recording. DOCX is handy for a paper, TXT for any notes app, and /history keeps your last ten transcripts if you come back to a lecture later in the term.
The quality of the notes follows the quality of the audio. A phone on the front desk gives a clean recording of the lecturer and a clean transcript. A phone in the back row, with chatter around it, gives gaps, and some terms will need to be filled in from memory. Anything on the board or on slides is not in the audio, so the notes cover what was said, not what was shown. Recognition runs on ElevenLabs Scribe v2: in our test on a Russian clip with technical terms it made about half the errors of Whisper-based bots. The language is detected automatically, English and Russian work best, and a lecturer who switches between the two is handled.
Add the bot to the group chat. Voice messages up to three minutes, such as questions before a seminar, are transcribed automatically for everyone. Under a lecture link or a long recording a button appears, and each member opens the full transcript in a private chat with the bot. The chat gets 30 free minutes a month, and an admin can switch auto mode off with /mute.
15 minutes every month are free, including the summary and one question per recording. A full lecture does not fit into that, so there are packs: 60 minutes for 199 RUB (one lecture), 300 minutes for 690 RUB (three ninety-minute lectures with room to spare), 1000 minutes for 1990 RUB. Minutes never expire, you pay for the length of the recording. Payment by any bank card in the browser, the /buy command in the bot.
15 minutes of recording a month, including the summary. Enough for a short video or a segment of a lecture; a full one needs a pack.
